Peggy Barnell
Creative Comedy That Brightens
The Spirit And Frees The Soul
asdf
Peggy Barnell was born and raised in Indiana. Though she grew up attending church, it wasnâ??t until age twenty-eight that she opened her heart to Jesus Christ. A nurse by profession, Peggy thought she had found her niche in her local church drama ministry, but early steps of faith opened doors to greater opportunities. She currently lives in Charlotte, NC, and works as an actor, writer, voice-over, drama teacher and comic. Her eight stage plays have been performed by churches and community theatres world-wide. Peggy loves all aspects of the creative process, and has been hamming it up for as long as she can remember.

Testimonials . . .
"Peggy's ability on stage is the best kept secret in the country- but not for long! Her vast experience, heart for people and love for God are evident both as she steps on stage and does life! Her versatility, humor and authenticity will engage your heart and mind. Although her quick wit is second to none, it is balanced by her reflective and thoughtful nature that desires to make a difference in the world. I whole- heartedly recommend Peggy as an actor, a speaker and a person!"

"Hospice of Union County owes a debt of gratitude to Peggy Barnell for her performance at our 2011 Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. She delighted our guests with a 20 minute presentation of funny skits and amusing songs. Her show was filled with clean, unique, and uplifting humor. You could say that Ms. Barnell put the FUN in our function!"
Ann Taylor, Volunteer Director, Hospice of Union County
"What a delight! Peggy's heart for the Lord and His children is huge! Peggy through her drama and comedic timing will have you laughing till youre crying, and crying because she reminds us of how very much God loves us. You'll love Peggy - both a clinician and dramatist for any meeting, conference or retreat. Look no further and give Peggy a call. What a blessing-Peggy brings joy and laughter wherever she goes!"
Celia Stockton, Choral Director/ Clinician
"As Director of ActUp drama ministry at Southbrook Church I had the privilege of working with Peggy Barnell. ActUp serves the children of Southbrook by writing, then performing curriculum based dramas weekly. Peggy is a gifted writer and actress - she steals the show when she appears as Cornelia, the rather 'whacky' lighthouse lady. As the former Theatre Director of Forest Hill Church, with 20 plus years of working in theater, Peggy is without a doubt one of the most talented, passionate and giving actresses I've worked with. She has it all; actress, director, writer and leader. I can't wait to see what she does next!"
