Humorist / Conference Speaker

Kathy Speaks . . .
Kathy Bohannon delights audiences with tales of "humor and pleasantries." Some of Kathy's favorite things to speak about are the front porch swing, a walk in the park, a day with the kids ... encouraging people to reflect on the most pleasant times of life.
Kathy shares the humorous highlights of life - interesting happenings along the way from childhood to adulthood. Audiences enjoy vignettes about Kathy's children, who she says "lovingly drove me nuts when they were growing up," and her husband "who is surely in line for the title of saint." Audiences quickly discover how crazy life can be with a husband, two kids, and a vast number of animals sharing the same slice of real estate.
Kathy enjoys speaking to all ages and all walks of life. When speaking to children, Kathy loves to encourage reading as a life-long activity, as well as encourage children to express themselves in creative writing. Her audiences love it when Kathy shares a little-known fact about SpongeBob Squarepants that kids are very surprised and excited to learn!
Her wide range of topics are appropriate for church, community, and corporate organizations, and her real-life stories of "humor and pleasantries" resonate with everyone and guarantee a smile every time.

I enjoy your writing in the Times. When I first noticed your newspaper columns, I was delighted to recognize you!
Thank you for your article on prayer. Remember my family as you pray and we will be praying for you.
Your story touched my heart! Thanks for sharing.
We appreciate so very much you coming to share with the ladies of Guyton Woman's Club. I really needed a laugh and you supplied it. Also, sharing your heart and love for Jesus was wonderful. SECC doesn't often sing the old hymns, so I really enjoyed it. Thanks you from the bottom of my heart.

I just wanted to say thank you again. What a true blessing it was to me and so many others. Every one commented on how great you were. I pray God continues touching your life and blessing you in a mighty way. He gave you the gift of making others laugh and relating to situations in life with a different outlook. HOW ENCOURAGING!!!

It was our pleasure to have Kathy Bohannon speak recently at our Savannah Baptist Association Senior Adult Picnic in Savannah. She geared her program to the interests of senior adults, and it was evident that they related. She shared freely from her heart regarding old sayings her mother and grandmother used and we sang along during her closing the old Carol Burnett theme song "I'm So Glad We Had This Time Together." I appreciate so much the way her subject matter was appropriate for Christian Senior Adults.
